(Home based Web Hosting) What are the best security software to install?
Hi all,
I have a client who host web hosting in a private office. i have seen Norton 360 is getting a bit resources hog, and most likely inefficient to use in a long run in terms of a web hosting who needs to be up 24/7. also norton 360 needs to restart in some point because of an update, and i cannot allow a restart.
So here’s my main question: What are the best security software to install? Im fine freeware but enterprise ready security =)
mainly im looking for to install these, but not sure yet:
Firewall (Comodo Firewall)
Antivirus (Im not sure, but i wanted an anti virus that doesn’t requires a restart just for an update. also strong 
)

We are using IIS 6
Nod32 and Kaspersky are the best anti-viruses on the market, but they cost money.
Comodo is the best firewall.
You might also want an IDS such as SNORT running and some one who knows how to read the output files. It is important to backup often too. All the data must be protected, intrusions detected, and hackers stopped.
A hardware firewall (router) is also needed if you don’t already have it. Run security checks on yourself and get advice from IT experts.
Access Me, SQL Inject Me, and XSS Me are good plugins for firefox when pentration testing your own sites.
IMO Windows as a Web server is dangerous, use Linux if you can help it.
